Venturing into the Ghostlands doesn’t have to be quite as ominous as the name sounds for the new Horde player. There are a ton of giant bats, spiders, bugs, twenty foot tall ‘fat bastards’, and even, imagine it, ghosts!
We only want the bats and don’t care for the rest. Forget the unMeaty Bat Wings and the Crispy Bat Wings from the zone. Those are Blood Elf hand-me-down recipes. No wonder they’re so thin.
Make my own version of Crispy AND Meaty Bat Wings. Lemony crispiness on a stick with enough meat for the randiest and most uncouth orc.
2-3 lbs Chicken wings, thawed and no tips
1 1/2 Tbsp Coarse ground black pepper
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1-2 cups Hot sauce (optional)*
Wash and pat dry wings. Set in a large bowl.
Roll and cut the lemons in half. Squeeze lemon halves to release juice over wings. Hold them cut-side up so the seeds don’t fall in. Toss to coat well.
*Toss in hot sauce if you want a spicy wing.
Mix remaining dry ingredients in another bowl and toss with wings being sure to coat well. Shake in a bag if you can’t toss the wings without making a big mess. 🙂
Set wings in a lasagna dish lined with foil and lightly oiled.
Bake 25-35 minutes at 375.
Remove from oven and let cool 5 mins.
Serve with Ranch Dressing.
