GGs Unite!: Noelove’s Kickin’ Kale Salad And Dressing

I am so proud and honored to feature another awesome gamer girlie @Noelove as my very first guest poster! Please enjoy her sassy snark and amazing salad recipe!

You’ve probably seen it on the auction house.

Recipe: Dirge’s Kickin’ Chimaerok Chops ( kickin-chimaerok-chops) going for more than most BiS epics.

Currently on my server, it’s going for 130k. Clearly, that seller is hoping to fund his new epic traveling mount with the sale of this recipe that is no longer available in game.

But have no fear!

I present to you Noelove’s Kickin’ Kale Salad (That won’t cost you 130k on the AH).

This crunchy kale salad is chock-full of nutrients, iron and protein, with a tangy dressing that really packs a critical strike to your taste buds.

Exactly what a hungry gamer needs pre-raid, or while doing your cooking dailies.

Noelove’s Kickin’ Kale Salad (That won’t cost you 130k on the AH)

3 cups de-stemmed chopped kale
1 cup of shredded carrot
1 cup of shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup walnuts roughly chopped

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
3-4 Tablespoons honey
1 Tablespoon of minced shallot
Salt and Pepper to taste

Combine the first four ingredients in a tupperware bowl/container with a very tight fitting lid.

Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine.

Pour dressing over salad and place in refrigerator to cure for 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how crunchy you like your kale. The shorter the cure the crunchier the salad will be.

Shake the container every 15 minutes or so for even distribution of the dressing.

Serves 2.
