I hate murlocs.
I mean, seriously HATE them.
Between levels 7-15, those fishy creatures are the bane of my existence every time I roll a new alt.
And they are ugly. So ugly, they are downright cute.
Still, when I am forced to kill the buggers, I imagine my toon starting a cooking fire and making some murloc meat patties…
Since they don’t have a recipe we can enjoy in-game, I thought I’d share a recipe we can all enjoy IRL.
And as we can enjoy this wonderful meal, we can dream of the day we can one truly kill and consume a murloc. Enjoy!
1 15 oz. can of dead murloc meat (or salmon, if you just can’t bring yourself to whack one of the ugly/cute buggers)
1 egg 1/2 teaspoon – Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon – dried parsley
1 dash – salt
1/2 teaspoon – pepper
1/3 cup – all-purpose flour — more if needed
1/3 cup – cornmeal — more if needed
1/4 cup – chopped green onion
1 Mix egg with fork. Add salt, pepper, Old Bay, and parsley.
2 Drain water from the murloc meat (or salmon). Add to egg mixture and mix well. Add green onions and mix again.
3 Add 1/3 cup each of the flour and the cornmeal and mix well. If needed, continue adding equal parts of flour and cornmeal until mixture is thick enough to hold together. Form fist-size balls and flatten out to patties.
4 Use cast-iron skillet with 1/4 inches of cooking oil on medium-high heat.
5 Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until browned.
